Kenneth Yoon has been fighting for plaintiffs’ rights in various class action lawsuits for over 20 years. The Daily Journal recognized two of his accomplishments this year: securing a $6 million verdict against Wal-Mart, and obtaining a published appellate decision protecting beer delivery drivers.
The jury found that Wal-Mart had failed in its obligation to relieve its employees of all duty, relinquish control over their activities, and permit them a reasonable opportunity to take an uninterrupted 30-minute break, without impeding or discouraging them from doing so.
