Kenneth H. Yoon
FOUNDER and principal
With 25 years of experience, Kenneth Yoon has developed a reputation advocating aggressively for the rights of his employee clients, and compassionately explaining the process as each client navigates through his or her case. He knows the hard work that people put into earning their money, and he understands the strain that not receiving their fair wages and benefits can put on workers and their families. For that reason, Mr. Yoon fights to ensure his clients' rights are upheld and that they receive the wages to which they are entitled.
Initially Mr. Yoon started representing employers, large public companies and small local businesses. Because of this experience, Mr. Yoon knows their tactics. However, for over 15 years he has focused his efforts on protecting the rights of employees at both the state and federal court. As an experienced class action litigator, Mr. Yoon has certified numerous cases as class actions in both state and federal court, including through appeals. Mr. Yoon was lead trial counsel in a recent wage and hour class action where he obtained a $6 million unanimous jury verdict in federal court. Hamilton v. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Case No. 5:17-cv-01415 (C.D. Cal. April 12, 2019).
Mr. Yoon was selected as one of Daily Journal’s Top 75 Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2019. He has been selected to Super Lawyers for the past several years, has received the highest possible rating of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell and has an Avvo "Excellent" rating. Mr. Yoon also serves as an arbitrator and is on the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Employment Arbitrator Panel.
